Learning Spanish in Mexico
In Guadalajara, Mexico, you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a rich, unique culture and learn Spanish with Projects Abroad. Living with a Spanish-speaking host family and exploring the local community will give you plenty of opportunities to practice your new language skills.
Whether you are a complete beginner or have been learning Spanish for several years, the courses will be tailored to your ability. There are two options when it comes to learning Spanish in Mexico. You can choose to do an intensive standalone course, where you will receive 15 hours of lessons per week from a qualified Spanish teacher.
After completing your Spanish Language Course, you can also choose to spend time working on one of our Mexico volunteer projects, such as Teaching or Care, and put your newly acquired language skills to use in a practical working environment.
Alternatively, you can choose to sign up for our 5-hour, 14-hour, or 30-hour Language Course add-ons, which run alongside your main volunteer project. These prices are in addition to your main project price. Please take a look at our Mexico language prices for more information.
Depending on your skills and when you travel with us, you may have your classes alone with the teacher or be in a small group with two or three others.
