Learn Spanish in Belize

Volunteer introducing herself in Spanish

Do something different by signing up for a Spanish Language Course in San Pedro, Belize. Although Spanish is not the national language, it is still spoken and heard widely throughout Belize. Being around people who speak Spanish on a daily basis will make it easier for you to learn the language or improve your fluency.

Our Spanish Language Course in Belize is an intensive standalone option that consists of 15 hours of lessons by a professional Spanish teacher per week. These lessons cater for all skill levels including beginners and others who have been learning Spanish for years. Your teacher will monitor your progress and tailor lessons according to your abilities.

If you want to improve your Spanish while volunteering or interning on a project in Belize, you can choose to learn Spanish as an add-on course. These 5-hour, 14-hour, or 30-hour add-ons run alongside your project, which means you can contribute your time to a worthy cause while improving your Spanish.

Since Spanish is common in Belize, it will be easy to find a way to practice your Spanish speaking skills in a conversational setting – especially if you are volunteering on a project that directly works with people in the community such as Public Health, Care, or Teaching. Our Spanish Language Course is based in San Pedro. This means that if you would like to join the or Diving & Marine Conservation Project located in Placencia, you will need to learn Spanish on a standalone course before or after the Conservation Project.
